The propaganda from the Obama administration on the so-called “improving economy” has gotten so picked up by the mainstream Liberal media that Liberal friends of mine have now taken to challenging me to “give Obama some credit” for a declining unemployment rate.
Put aside for a moment the abject Stalinization of government statistics by the Obama regime (read here about the 2011 change to how unemployment is calculated, whereby the denominator was artificially made lower by excluding the long-term unemployed).
I’m more interested this morning in unmasking Obama and left-wing propaganda with the words of fellow-Liberal Andrew Cuomo, who said the following in his inaugural speech recently (as he begins his second term as New York Governor):
We work harder and we earn less. Income inequality is at the highest point in over a century. While American capitalism never guaranteed success, it did guarantee opportunity. For too many, the dream of economic mobility has been replaced with a nightmare of economic stagnation.
Andrew Cuomo, January 2015
So, Liberals, there you have it…. two versions of the truth about the state of Obama’s America — one from Liberal propaganda, and the other from a mega-Liberal who drinks the same Koolaid.
PS: for Liberals who would dismiss Cuomo’s words as mere electioneering, you are out of luck — this was his INAUGURAL address, with no concern or re-election. The truth as he sees it, in other words.
