The federal government has one duty above all else: protecting the nation from threats, both foreign and domestic.
Under Barack Obama, our sovereignty has been threatened almost continuously, but as of this week perhaps more egregiously than ever before: a man who had been in Liberia and exposed to the deadly Ebola virus was allowed to fly back home to Dallas Texas.
This is absolute INSANITY.
I cannot comprehend this.
And of course, today, we see this news:
DALLAS (Reuters) – Up to 100 people may have had contact with the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the United States, and four people were quarantined in a Dallas apartment where sheets and other items used by the man were put in sealed plastic bags to prevent infection.
Health officials said on Thursday that 12 to 18 people had direct contact with the patient, who flew to Texas from Liberia via Brussels and Washington two weeks ago, and they in turn had contact with scores of others. <Yahoo Finance, link>
I guess the powers that be don’t care if we have a virulent outbreak inside our own borders.
What is going on here?
You think there’s no threat? Susan Rice certainly doesn’t see any threat.
How about his little bit of news in the same story:
By Sunday, he needed an ambulance to return to the same hospital after vomiting on the ground outside the apartment complex.
Our country is under assault, for real.
