I chuckled when I read this summary of mr. Obama’s latest chicanery (offering a year’s reprieve to those whose policies have been cancelled):
The impact of Obama’s proposal was to shift responsibility for cancellations from the administration to state insurance regulators and the industry itself.
“What we want to do is to be able to say to these folks, you know what, the Affordable Care Act is not going to be the reason why insurers have to cancel your plan,” Obama said Thursday of the millions who have received cancellation notices.
The president’s shift also was designed to redeem his long-ago pledge that people who liked their coverage could keep it. <source>
I chuckled because OF COURSE the Manchurian wants people to believe that their increasing pain is not his fault, or the fault of his bad law.
This is his specialty — avoidance of accountability — and I don’t think he can get through even one day without consciously trying to escape accountability for his dirty deeds.
Will it work?
Maybe, just maybe, enough Americans — even the ones who like him — have realized that he lies and lies and lies and can’t be trusted anymore.
