I can’t prove it, but I suspect that world leaders, particularly those of our allies, are lately missing George W. Bush as they experience the full force of the fraudulent, lying Obama.
Throughout the two Bush terms the Liberal media made sure we “knew” that George Bush inspired hatred towards himself and our country all over the world.
This mantra was so pervasive that 2008 Obama even worked it into his inaugural address.
A passionate and determined Barack Obama used his inaugural address as the 44th president of the United States to deliver a stinging indictment of George Bush’s eight years in power.
“We understand that greatness is never a given,” he said, advocating a new era of humility in apparent contrast to the previous administration. “It must be earned.” <source>
That’s right, mr. Obama, “it must be earned”, and you have earned nothing but suspicion from our closest allies.
Can you imagine what Angela Merkel of Germany must have thought to herself when she received the following reassurance?
Last week White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters that Obama had assured Merkel that the United States “is not monitoring and will not monitor” the communications of the chancellor. <source>
When you read that sentence you just know that mr. Obama has no credibility any more — that the German Chancellor most likely rolled her eyes at him, literally — at least among nations who seek to be friendly to the United States.
On the other hand, he no doubt has great credibility among the enemies of the United States, both inside and outside the country. Nations who hate the United States are surely emboldened and excited by mr. Obama and believe in him most intensely, for he is delivering our collective head on a plate for them, and this has truly been his goal all along.
Indeed he is “determined“, but not to be a great president; rather he is determined to destroy the United States and everything that has made it a great and powerful nation, and he is moving right along.
His family, his friends, his professors, and his pastor, and apparently a still-quite-large segment of the American electorate must all be so very proud.
