Often people have a hard time comprehending the soul-crushing consequences of statist policies like Obamacare and need stories of single individuals to wake them up (Ronald Reagan used this rhetorical method often, when he told stories of individual American lives to showcase how his policies would resurrect the American civilization, which of course they did, praise god).
And so we are starting to get some of these in the mainstream media.
Here is the story of Dianne Barrette, a 56-year old woman who was just informed that her health insurance has been taken away by Barack Obama:
In California, Kaiser Permanente terminated policies for 160,000 people. In Florida, at least 300,000 people are losing coverage. That includes 56-year-old Dianne Barrette. Last month, she received a letter from Blue Cross Blue Shield informing her as of January 2014, she would lose her current plan. Barrette pays $54 a month. The new plan she’s being offered would run $591 a month — 10 times more than what she currently pays.
Barrette said, “What I have right now is what I am happy with and I just want to know why I can’t keep what I have. Why do I have to be forced into something else?” <source>
That is an important question, Dianne, why do you have to be FORCED?
The answer is simple: because you and 270 million other Americans DON’T WANT OBAMACARE, and never did, and yet Obama and Democrats passed it anyway.
So how can the government overcome this?
Through force, and you and everyone else are now being forced, by the state.
Barack Obama and Democrats in the House and Senate conspired to pass the “Affordable Care Act” in 2010 and covered their tracks every step of the way with Obama’s lies, principally his “if you like your current health insurance you can keep it”.
Did you believe him, Dianne?
Did you vote for him once?
Would you like to get those votes back and recast them?
Here is the good news for you: in November 2014, you can elect a Republican Senate and also Republican House members, and Despot Obama will at least be sidelined for the final two years of his term.
If the Obamacare wrecking ball is not enough to convince you of the malignancy of this man’s regime, nothing will.
