In case anyone isn’t up to speed on why Healthcare.gov is such a remarkably complicated system, prone to crashes, let’s review the central Socialist principal on which it is based: not only are “all Americans” guaranteed access to health insurance, certain Americans are to receive tax-payer funded SUBSIDIES to make the price of such insurance artificially low for them, while the substantial majority of Americans see their current health care costs skyrocket.
This is a centrally planned scheme of price fixing, and as we know from history, such price fixing is IMPOSSIBLE to get right, and ALWAYS FAILS.
NEW YORK/WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A data center critical for allowing uninsured Americans to buy health coverage under President Barack Obama’s healthcare law went down on Sunday, the U.S. government said, in the latest problem for the “Obamacare” rollout. <source>
“Went down”, yes.
The data center experienced a failure on Sunday that led it to lose network connectivity, Health and Human Services Department spokeswoman Joanne Peters said.
“Experienced a failure”, yes.
But what is at the heart of all of these databases talking to each other as people try to log on, having to enter a massive amount of data about themselves before they can “go shopping”?
This is what is at the heart of the thing:
The verification is necessary to determine eligibility for tax credits that reduce the cost of monthly insurance premiums, a key provision of the law.
Ah yes, the “eligibility” for “tax credits”, a “KEY” provision of the law.
You bet it’s “KEY”.
“Eligibility for tax credits” is a polite phrase for Socialist redistribution and for bribes of those who would vote in elections for candidates like Barack Hussein Obama: VOTE FOR HIM AND YOU GET STUFF HALF OFF!
Works every time these days, but not so much from 1787 – 1918, when Americans were too proud to beg or to have Washington solve their problems for them.
Note that mr. Obama knew from the beginning — back in 2008 and earlier — that Obamacare insurance rates would be SKY HIGH, and that therefore they would need to be subsidized for the whole fraud to take hold.
But it won’t take hold, as I will write about separately: Obamacare will bring about a legendary “Insurance Death Spiral” and the political winds will start blowing back hard on the Manchurian and his rotten stinking legacy.
You think the average hard-working American is going to suffer monthly health insurance rates going from $500 to $1,200 and not scream about it? Not vote these America-destroyers out of office?
I can’t wait.
