Here we are in Barack Obama’s second term as president and as Middle East dictators and Islamists rip apart what little peace there was in the region, I am reminded of Joe Biden’s prophetic words as mr. Obama was preparing to occupy the role of Commander in Chief:
“…We’re going to have an international crisis. A generated crisis to test the mettle of this guy…”
That’s right, Joe Biden actually said that mr. Obama’s inexperience was itself going to provoke foreign leaders into “testing the mettle of this guy”.
But fools don’t rush in: during Obama’s first term, the fresh memory of George Bush’s bellicosity kept many of our enemies on their heels.
Now, after five years of Obama’s anti-American beliefs, body language, oratory, and actions, the world’s worst dictators are more than ready to make the Biden Prediction come true: Bashar Assad’s brazen use of chemical weapons despite mr. Obama’s “clear red line” against doing so is Exhibit A in the world’s new defiance of American power.
Let us point out, though, that Assad’s heinous actions are not a result of a mr. Obama’s inexperience. No, they are instead a result of mr. Obama’s habit of allowing Islamist Middle Eastern forces to run rough-shod over the entire region. His dithering on Egypt spoke clearly and loudly to Assad and his ilk: “Tread on Me”, says Obama, and America-hating thugs around the world are all too happy to take him up on it.
How could this be? The answer is that Barack Obama, ever the smart man, was able to score a two-for-one:
- Dupe American Liberals with anti-American humble pie and seduce them with promises of a world-tour of atonement (he has delivered, and received all their votes in exchange), and
- Fuel the flames of anti-American vitriol through projections of weakness around the world, as mr. Obama must know that repetitive obsequious apologies would never win respect from anyone
But he does not want respect in so far as it would enhance American power.
His real hopes and dreams are coming true in another way: Our enemies hate us more than before.
And our allies have begun to abandon us.
Who supported George HW Bush in liberating Kuwait?
Who supported George W. Bush is toppling Saddam Hussein?
Who supports Barack Hussein Obama on his plans to invade Syria?
Barack Obama’s plans for air strikes against Syria were thrown into disarray on Thursday night after the British parliament unexpectedly rejected a motion designed to pave the way to authorising the UK’s participation in military action. The White House was forced to consider the unpalatable option of taking unilateral action against the regime of Bashar al-Assad after the British prime minister, David Cameron, said UK would not now take part in any military action in response to a chemical attack in the suburbs of Damascus last week. <source>
Does anyone deny that Barack Obama hates England? His snubs have been overt and well documented, and have earned him this most excellent snub on his proposed Syria action.
None of this is a surprise, and the only interesting question is whether, in his mind, the achievement of his goal of the destruction of the United States is worth making himself look like a fool around the world. Surely the man must have some vanity?
Our very lives may depend on it.
