The Liberal double-standard needs no introduction, and the flap over the Obama Rodeo Clown incident is an amazing recent example.
As we all have heard by now, a rodeo clown donned an Obama mask while taunting a bull in the rodeo ring.
A rodeo stunt at the Missouri State Fair has come under criticism after a clown donned a Barack Obama mask and stuck on a broom that descended from his backside.
The stunt took place during the bull riding competition on Saturday night. Rodeo announcer Mark Ficken, president of the Missouri Cowboy Rodeo Association and a school superintendent, announced a special guest: “President Obama.”
Another voice is heard over the loudspeaker working up the crowd and saying, “We’re going to stomp Obama now.””As soon as this bull comes out, Obama, don’t you move,” the second voice said. “He’s going to getcha, getcha getcha, getcha.”
The Liberal outrage is of course extreme, as have been the consequences:
- The president of the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association has resigned

- The Missouri chapter of the NAACP appealed for the U.S. Department of Justice and the Secret Service to launch an investigation and open a federal case against the rodeo clown.

And so my question is this: where were these people when the producers of HBO’s Game of Thrones used a life-like George W. Bush mask as cover for one of the severed heads on spikes in an episode of the show?
Oh, what’s that HBO, you don’t remember?
This Liberal depravity was perpetrated by David Beinoff and D.B. Weiss, creators of the show.
Here was how the described their proud moment:
“George Bush’s head appears in a couple of beheading scenes,” the duo revealed in their commentary. “It’s not a choice, it’s not a political statement. We just had to use whatever heads we had lying around.”
The objection to Rodeo Obama is that it was allegedly an incitement to violence on the part of the crowd, never mind the fact that a rodeo clown’s role is to avoid the bull, not get trampled by it, and never mind the fact that no trampling of any kind actually occurred, nor was it planned to occur.
But which is worse? The imagined trampling of a rodeo clown wearing an Obama mask, or a decapitated head, complete with bloody neck, on a spike, wearing a George Bush mask?
Here’s another question: Were there strident calls for Mr. Beinof and Mr. Weiss to become the subjects of federal investigations? Did they resign?
Did anything happen at all?
The double standard is disgusting.
