How about some more stories about Obama’s ruthless and immoral team ramping up their Obamacare destruction against America’s youth?
As we’ve said, it is our duty to bear witness to the massacre of freedom and dignity in the United States under Barack Hussein Obama.
Today’s installment comes via the New York Times, which offered a piece showcasing the Obama White House war room preparing and delivering their propaganda on Obamacare. What leaves you speechless is how out-in-the-open they are about the prey they’ve got lined up in the cross hairs: young, healthy people who do not need health insurance but must now buy it for the express purpose of funding the health care of older, sicker people.
The Obama search-and-destroy bureaucrats intend to spare no racial minorities, either:
In spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, Mr. Simas rattles off statistics from individual census tracts, like one in Texas that has 6,737 uninsured African-Americans 18 to 35 — exactly the kind of people he needs to find. “It’s all about designing outreach,” Mr. Simas said, with maps of Dallas on his two computer screens. “It’s getting people to the front door.” <source>
Specifically targeting young, healthy African Americans for the Obamacare shakedown.
Remember that young healthy people are being pursued for their insurance premium payments precisely because they will not file claims at levels anywhere near what they pay in, and compelling them to pay into a system that will short-change them BY DESIGN is an overt ROBBERY of them.
The team is also turning to Hollywood. Jennifer Hudson, Amy Poehler, Aisha Tyler and representatives for Oprah Winfrey, Jon Bon Jovi and others were at the White House on Monday for a meeting with Valerie Jarrett, Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, on plans for them to promote the health care law through social media, public service announcements and television appearances. Mr. Obama briefly stopped by, saying they needed to urge young people to sign up.
Hours later, Ms. Tyler told David Letterman on his show that the president was “trying to enlist people to help people understand the Affordable Care Act and know that young people can get insurance where they couldn’t afford it before.”
No, Ms. Tyler, the issue is not that young people could not afford it before: the issue is that they chose not to waste their hard-earned money on premiums for a service that they knew they would under-utilize. And Barack Obama has asked you to steal from them by convincing them to buy something they do not need. Do you realize that you are herding them into an Obamacare pen for slaughter? Listen to Denis McDonough, White House chief of staff, characterize his and your efforts:
“The way I am attacking this is the way I attacked a lot of problems at the national security staff,” he said in an interview. “We have a strategy. We have a target. It’s my job to make sure that everyone is keeping focused on the target.”
Do you feel good about this, now that you’ve been told?
(By the way, I absolutely love that Oprah Winfrey herself was not in attendance at the celebrity gathering (only her “representatives”). Hilarious.)
But let’s get back to George Orwell’s America under Barack Obama. The following paragraph is a treasure trove of Orwellian language crimes:
Many of Mr. Obama’s allies across the country remain concerned about computer glitches, confusion at hospitals, a blasé attitude among uninsured Americans and the possibility that people will be victimized by insurance fraud as they try to buy coverage for the first time. “We have a couple million people coming in, and so much money involved,” said Dave Jones, the insurance commissioner in California and a supporter of the health care law. “I want to make sure those consumers are not taken advantage of.”
Let’s start with the reference to “a blasé attitude among uninsured Americans”. This is a Liberal self-delusion about the truth, and the truth is that many uninsured Americans are not clamoring for health insurance and in fact do not want to pay the premiums for it. Liberals lie to themselves and imagine that millions of people making this choice have been behaving in a “blasé” manner, which then allows Liberals to tell themselves the next lie, which is that they are not guilty of being agents of the state who are compelling such people to do something against their will. No, this would be too hard to accepts about themselves — Liberal believe they DO GOOD! They bring about utopian, 100% solutions!
Next, let’s notice the reference to the Liberal fear that these targeted Americans will be “victimized by insurance fraud”. Once again, Liberals find a convenient, subordinate anxiety to mask the real anxiety that they should be feeling: that by forcing the young and healthy to buy something they do not want or need, Liberals are ALREADY VICTIMIZING the very people they claim to want to protect.
Insurance fraud? How about the fraud committed by Aisha Tyler?
Finally we have the California insurance commissioner indulging my personal favorite in the Orwellian pantheon of Obama fascism: he calls the millions who will be forced — by the IRS and extended power of the federal government — to buy health insurance that they don’t need “CONSUMERS”.
Right, right, they’re “consumers”. Sure, sure.
