The Obama administration’s debacle in Beghazi, covered up by the mainstream media in the months before the election, will stand the test of time as an example of the weakening of American power around the world during the age of Obama.
Leon Panetta’s testimony about the incident is just another brick in the wall:
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Thursday that the speed of the attack on the U.S. Consulate inBenghazi, Libya, last September kept U.S. armed forces from responding in time to save the four Americans who were killed.
Testifying for likely the last time on Capitol Hill before stepping down, Panetta defended the U.S. military’s response on a chaotic Sept. 11 day as the Obama administration tried to assess the threat from protests in Tunisia, Egypt, the Libyan capital of Tripoli and other countries.
“The United States military is not and should not be a global 911 service capable of arriving on the scene within minutes to every possible contingency around the world,” Panetta said. <source>
Note the rhetorical subterfuge of attacking a belief that no one holds, namely that the U.S. military should be a ‘global 911 service’.
Who has ever said such a thing? No one.
The real issue, Leon, is that you and Hillary and Barry knew, or should have known, that the Libya mess YOU ALL CREATE IN THE FIRST PLACE was ripe for the kind of terrorist attack that in fact occurred. Libya was not just another country in the world somewhere; rather it was the theater of the war that our nobel prize winner started and then led (from behind) in which incoming Muslim extremists replaced outgoing Muslim extremists.
And let’s not forget mr. Obama’s worst crime in this incident: the willful obfuscation of the truth about the attack, which once again sought to put a friendly face on Muslim extremism and in this case went even further in that Obama and his allies shifted the blame entirely away from the perpetrators.
History often forgets, but sometimes remembers particularly heinous acts by people such as Barack Obama. We shall see where Obama Benghazi ends up.
Hillary and Barry either likely did not know because they did not read communications from Stevens which even as I write the words I know is wrong, they knew because they refused extra security and in fact reduced the level of security that was already in place. This is liberalism at its finest/worst. To them it is about titles and positions and not the work involved with such titles. Hillary said it plain as day “At this point, what difference does it make?” They were responsible for human lives American human lives and they failed our people and America from the moment the novice amateur decided it was fine for America to lead from behind. On 9-11-2012 Barry and his traveling girl Hillary sat back and showed their severe impotence of their decaying foreign policy. They further showed their indifference to what was taking place and took place in Benghazi by not stepping up but rather standing down and ordering others to stand down thus dooming our assets to the only outcome non-action could possibly lead to and then sent out the dog and pony show to mislead the people of this nation about their complete and utter incompetence. This should have ended Barry’s chance at reelection and sent Hillary packing as well. But we now see how the liberal electorate does not demand anything resembling accountability from the occupier in the oval office.
I wonder if Hillary is sitting home picking her corns still thinking we are fool enough to not see her contempt for anybody demanding her accountability for the piss poor job she did? Probably not she is “kind of long in the nose and a bit narrow between the eyes.” Louis L’Amour… A description of a stupid horse.
