What a hilarious headline in the LA Times online <source>:
Obama healthcare law not resonating with the public yet
We are now inside the Liberal mind aren’t we!
“Not resonating?”
Here is the truth (emphasis added):
…the American people have already reached their judgment. According to the latest USA Today poll, fully 75 percent of Americans believe the new health-care law’s individual mandate is unconstitutional. And if the Court doesn’t throw Obamacare out, Americans want Congress to do so: Half of voters want the law repealed, compared to 44 percent who want it retained. Moreover, those who want it repealed feel much more intensely about it. Fully 32 percent “strongly support” repeal, compared to just 18 percent who “strongly oppose” it. This is consistent with other polls — for example, the latest Rasmussen poll has 53 percent of likely voters supporting repeal, with just 38 percent opposed — and virtually unchanged since the law passed. <source>
Let me translate for Noam Levey, the author of the article: Americans HATE Obamacare, never wanted it, and are much smarter than you think they are. They know their choices will diminish and are offended by the controversial mandate requiring that all Americans buy health insurance — the first time the mere act of being a citizen requires that a good or service be purchased.
Really, Noam, you should be a more honest journalist and stop trying to cover for the Manchurian.
You know our health insurance myself and my wife have is not top end but it works for us most times. When she had a very dangerous melanoma there was no hesitation the doctors went right in and removed it and the insurance company was johnny on the spot to approve the surgery. Now she has a bone spur and went to a surgeon for a consultation because it is growing beneath tendons and if it continues they way it is growing will likely tear the tendons in her shoulder. Now though she has to exhaust all other avenues before they will approve surgery. We asked why and the doctor said flat, thank Obama and ObamaCare. He said the future is uncertain and until the Supreme Court strikes it down, insurance companies are sitting on their hands as long as they possibly can.
Needless to say I did not bother a venture to the doctor after my tumble yesterday. I too await the court to toss this health care law out for the garbage that it is.
