The LA Times online ran the following headline:
I guess the Manchurian and his advisers think that this old Bill Clinton mega-lie can be rolled out again in this year’s presidential election.
For those who don’t remember, Bill Clinton made a middle class tax cut central to his 1992 presidential campaign. But once he gained office, he promptly dropped the plan, instantly making suckers of all those who voted for him (so many blue dresses…).
Let’s walk down memory lane so that the Manchurian’s resurrection of a classic Democratic Party bait-and-switch will be DOA for those who refuse to be fooled again:
WASHINGTON— Seeking to explain why he is backtracking on a campaign promise to cut taxes for the middle class, President-elect Bill Clinton said Thursday that the plan was never a major theme in his race for the White House. Mr. Clinton, speaking at a news conference a day after saying he would have to “revisit” his tax-cut plan, said Americans voted for him because of the “big things” he wanted to do. The middle-class tax cut, he said, was not among them. <source>
What is worse: that Clinton got elected on such a big lie, or that Barack Obama is trotting out the same lie now?
Answer: Obama is worse, because everything he does is somehow worse.

Obama is worse because he knows the people bought into this BS promise with Clinton and he sees in his own unfaltering minions the same idiocy that could likely get him reelected using the same BS lie.
While watching a debate today on the news about schools and teachers pay, apparently under some plan of Barry-O’s, failing (bad students) could get money just for showing up to school every day. WTF is that?
Then we hear in his budget about the huge cuts in spending that are slashing wildly at this nations MEGA-DEFICIT. Even the AP who has openly given Barry-O a free pass, says that Barry-O’s budget uses phantom numbers to support its claims of deficit slashing.
Barry-O and the Dems (sounds like a doo-wop band) are banking on the liberal democratic stupidity of anybody still blind enough to see that Barry-O has dry screwed this country in the A$$ without so much as a courtesy reach-around. The worst part of it is almost every elected Democrat in the House and the Senate can look you in the face without averting their eyes and tell you how much better off this nation is, thanks to their efforts and the leadership of Barry-O.
I watched Chris Van Hollen on numerous news channels yesterday touting Barry-O and his miraculous budget proposal. I have a problem when anybody can look you in the eye and lie without breaking a sweat or averting the eyes. Especially a person who is elected to serve the people of this nation. I know it is politics, but come on.
Okay, mini-rant over….whew.
On a lighter side here is a presidential story coming out on film from Tim Burton;
“Sure, Abe Lincoln was a superlative statesman. But what he really excelled at, apparently, was his night job: Slaying vampires.
Don’t let that folksy beard and quaint stovetop hat (or history books) fool you. Our 16th president was a raging mountain of pure vampire-crushing strength and vengeance.
That’s the way the story goes in the upcoming horror/history film “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,”
Some doo wop band…give them the hook as soon as possible
Lol =)
Maxine Waters calls the GOP Demons, She has a lot of nerve, talk about demonic she looks like a sock-puppet somebody yanked their hand out of too fast…=)
If you are a fan of Abbott and Costello you will enjoy this Routine!
COSTELLO: I want to talk about the unemployment rate in America.
ABBOTT: Good Subject. Terrible Times. It’s 9%.
COSTELLO: That many people are out of work?
ABBOTT: No, that’s 16%.
COSTELLO: You just said 9%.
ABBOTT: 9% Unemployed.
COSTELLO: Right 9% out of work.
ABBOTT: No, that’s 16%.
COSTELLO: Okay, so it’s 16% unemployed.
ABBOTT: No, that’s 9%…
COSTELLO: WAIT A MINUTE. Is it 9% or 16%?
ABBOTT: 9% are unemployed. 16% are out of work.
COSTELLO: IF you are out of work you are unemployed.
ABBOTT: No, you can’t count the “Out of Work” as the unemployed. You have to look for work to be unemployed.
COSTELLO: BUT THEY ARE OUT OF WORK!!!
ABBOTT: No, you miss my point.
COSTELLO: What point?
ABBOTT: Someone who doesn’t look for work, can’t be counted with those who look for work. It wouldn’t be fair.
COSTELLO: To who?
ABBOTT: The unemployed.
COSTELLO: But they are ALL out of work.
ABBOTT: No, the unemployed are actively looking for work. Those who are out of work stopped looking. They gave up. And, if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed.
COSTELLO: So if you’re off the unemployment roles, that would count as less unemployment?
ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!
COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don’t look for work?
ABBOTT: Absolutely it goes down. That’s how you get to 9%. Otherwise it would be 16%. You don’t want to read about 16% unemployment, do ya?
COSTELLO: That would be frightening.
ABBOTT: Absolutely.
COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means there are two ways to bring down the unemployment number?
ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.
COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?
ABBOTT: Correct.
COSTELLO: And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?
ABBOTT: Bingo.
COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to just stop looking for work.
ABBOTT: Now you’re thinking like an economist.
COSTELLO: I don’t even know what in the world I just said!
And now you know how and why Obama’s unemployment figures are improving and will continue to improve all the way to November 6, 2012.
You could have a whole Abbott and Costello blog about the chicanery of Barack Hussein
Without a doubt.
