The Fast and Furious scandal, perpetrated by the Obama administration, may be more emblematic of mr. Obama’s willful destruction of the United States than even Obamacare or his coddling of Wall Street bankers who even now imperil the world’s financial system and well being (such bankers being safely under the cloak of Obama’s sham financial reform known as Dodd-Frank, which famously did NOTHING to even address too-big-to-fail or excessive leverage in proprietary trading).
If you hadn’t heard of the scandal, and someone walked up to you and told you the following, might you conclude that the President and his henchmen were the equivalent of a sleeper cell inside the United States, awakened in 2008 and very much active?
- Several ATF agents have testified that they were ordered by superiors to let suspected straw buyers walk away from Phoenix-area gun shops with AK-47s and other weapons believed headed for Mexican drug cartels, rather than arrest the buyers and seize the guns there. <source: NPR>
- More than 2,000 weapons were purchased from September 2009 to December 2010, including the AK-47s, Barrett .50-caliber sniper rifles, FN 5.7-mm semi-automatic pistols, and other assorted handguns, rifles and shotguns — about half of which remain unaccounted for. <source>
- Operation Fast and Furious resulted directly in the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry; that is, one of the guns that the Justice Department willfully allowed to fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels ended up being used to kill Agent Terry.
- Holder has shown no remorse about the killing of a US Border agent. Although the attorney general expressed regret to the family of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian A. Terry, who was killed in December in a shootout where two AK-47s purchased as part of the undercover operation were found, he refused to apologize <source>
Holder has acknowledged that the ripple effects of Fast and Furious will be felt for a long time:
“Unfortunately, we will feel its effects for years to come as guns that were lost during this operation continue to show up at crime scenes both here and in Mexico,” the attorney general said. <source>
The phrase “…show up at crime scenes…” is a bit mild, don’t you think? The more harsh reality is that such weapons will potentially continue to kill Americans, and also Mexican citizens who are innocent bystanders in the drug wars raging inside the narco-state otherwise known as Mexico. And also kill American sovereignty by weakening and destroying the border.
Holder is under heavy fire from the US Senate, as he should be. He denies ever having known about the program and now offers the country a vow that “it must never happen again”. Golly gee that’s comforting.
Attorney General Eric Holder says an investigation of arms traffickers called Operation Fast and Furiouswas flawed in concept as well as in execution, never should have happened and “it must never happen again.” Facing tough questioning by Senate Republicans, the attorney general said in remarks prepared for a hearing Tuesday that he wants to know why and how firearms that should have been under surveillance could wind up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels. <source>
He persists in his claims that he knew nothing, yet no one believes him and there is talk of him perjuring himself in his Congressional testimony.
Virginia Republican Senate candidate Jamie Radtke also told The Daily Caller she thinks “all indications are that Eric Holder perjured himself.” “If he perjured himself and was involved in selling guns to the Mexican Drug Cartel, he should be removed from office and charges should be immediately considered,” Radtke said in an email to TheDC. <source>
So yes, we live in an America where the Justice Department of the Obama Administration (1) ran a program that allowed thousands of high-powered weapons to be purchased and received by Mexican drug cartels, (2) directly or indirectly caused the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent, and (3) is suing the states of Arizona and Alabama for their attempts to enforce American sovereignty and stem the tide of the illegal and war-like Mexican invasion of the United States.
And Barack Obama is running for reelection?
Yep, I’ll be voting for Obama next year. He just hasn’t had the time required to “fundamentally change America”. He’s working on it, just hasn’t had enough opportunity because of those wascawy Wepubwicans in congress.
Four more years, four more years, four more years!
LOL…Man he has transformed so much, mostly people’s lives from livable to fearing every time he gets ready to sign something into law. yeah he deserves more time to complete his plans…lol How about Slick Willy now saying that presidents should be allowed to run for a third term…The country we know is already warped beyond reality.
