On the one hand, it is an honor that a certain someone is mentioned on this wedding invitation from the British Royal Family:
On the other hand, it makes it clear that he is not invited…(in fact, he was not):
The Queen personally invited 40 heads of state, who received the gold-embossed invitations over the weekend to the April 29 wedding of the future king.
The Obamas, however, were not among them. <source>
This is called poetic, and actual, justice for a man with such contempt for our anglo-saxon heritage and the UK, our great ally in a world of darkness.

Sending Churchill’s bust back to Britain was an arrogant act by an conceited fool. .and I’ll wager that Churchill will be back in the Oval Office not long after 2012.
Awesome prognostication Jim!
Obama is actually -in England at least- the most popular and respected American President in recent times.
I don’t know whether that is true or not, but if it were true, then the English are ignorant of how much he hates their culture and heritage. Churchill gone from the Oval…I suggest you look into it. The Impostor had a very specific reason for sending it back.
Yes, his very specific reason was to replace it with a bust of Abraham Lincoln, who was an American president, and not an aristocrat of a country we fought for independence from.
It would appear that you dislike Churchill as much as Barack Hussein and view Great Britain as nothing more than a defeated colonialist power? Churchill merely an aristocrat? Perhaps you know little of World War II, and little of the powerful political alliance between the USA and GB? And, of greater concern: perhaps you know nothing of symbolism and the need for the subtle arts of diplomacy and statesmanship?
Invitations were sent to leaders of British Commonwealth countries not to all world leaders.
But invitations were also sent to other world leaders and the Obama non-invitation was very conspicuous and a clear message. Do you dispute this?
Give some examples.
Are you kidding? Your belief that invitations were sent only to Commonwealth countries is wrong.
Here are some excerpts from one of the many articles easily found on the Royal snub of Obama:
“Leaders from Commonwealth counties, including Australia, Canada and New Zealand have been invited along with Kings and Queens across Europe, including Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Greece.”
“Other guests include the King of Jordan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the Sultan of Oman, the King of Bahrain, the Sultan of Brunei and the King of Saudi Arabia, the Emperor of Japan, the King of Malaysia, the King of Tonga and the King of Thailand.
Around 1,900 guests will attend the Westminster Abbey ceremony, which will be beamed around the world, and the bride and groom have been allowed to invite more than, 1,000 of their friends.

All named were royalty. The President of the United States is not royalty. Still no snub.
I suppose the Reagans were royalty back at Di and Charles’ wedding?
Charles (Prince of Wales at the time) and Diana’s wedding was a state occasion and so other Heads of State were invited. William is not yet Prince of Wales and his wedding was not a state event, it was private.
The only Heads of State invited were from Commonwealth countries. Even when Royalty was invited, the political Heads of State of those countries (Prime Ministers etc.) were not.
If they had invited the Heads of State of, say, Russia and/or Libya and/or Argentina, and not the President of the United States, I would say you have a point. That would be a snub. That did not happen. No snub.
It is obvious that the article was not factual and was only meant to embarass President Obama. The ones who should be embarassed are the person who wrote this sham and those who fell for it.
Dude, Nic Sarkozy of France was invited. And partly for the reasons you state, the lovely couple could have invited the Obamas if they felt like it. But they didn’t. We can only guess as to the reason, but it is not difficult: the treatment of Gordon Brown during his White House visit alone is enough to confirm Obama’s hatred of the UK.
